In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. (Romans 12:6-8 NLT)
The above scriptures are among the many biblical descriptions of God-give gifts. Following are some links to spiritual gifts (sometimes called motivational gifts) teaching and assessments. I encourage you to examine all this carefully and let God guide you in understanding and lead you to your next steps to discovering and using your gifts for His glory. Please remember that any gift survey or tool is just that--a tool. Don't let the results mold you into the person the tool describes. Get input from people who know you well. And, by far the most important, continually seek God to guide you in discovering and developing your gifts. Continually ask him to help you become all he has designed you to be.
