Mission Discovery. One to two week mission trips designed to fit into anyone's schedule. For families, adults, college students, youth groups, and everyone else! In addition, Mission Discovery is looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals who can give 4-8 weeks of their summer. Interns are a vital part of making each short-term mission trip a success. Daily tasks include coordinating construction projects, leading morning devotionals, facilitating a nightly gathering, and handling day-to-day logistics. They work closely with Mission Discovery project coordinators and other volunteer staff. A heart for missions and a love of interacting with youth and adults is a must. Samaritan's Purse. World Medical Mission sends Christian medical and dental professionals on short-term trips to partnering mission hospitals and clinics around the world. "Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and other experts in the medical field follow in the footsteps of the Great Physician as they provide patient care in a resource-limited environment, relieve overwhelmed full-time hospital staff, and help educate the next generation of national healthcare workers in the country they are serving." Also consider applying for their post-residency program, joining a short-term volunteer team of Christian medical professionals, or helping ensure that partner mission hospitals have properly functioning equipment.

YWAM. "A short-term mission opportunity can last anywhere from one week to two years. YWAM offers hundreds of possibilities for individuals, churches, youth groups, and students.
