Ministry to Israel. "Since 1991, when the Iron Curtain came down, Ministry to Israel (MTI) has assisted in the gathering and transporting tens of thousands of Jewish immigrants to Israel. Working with the Jewish Agency and through partnerships with Christian organizations and especially with Ezra International, MTI is playing a significant role in this prophetic fulfillment." They also help the new immigrants in countless ways.
Currently MTI is assisting IDF soldiers and those directly impacted by the war. Michael and Gina Utterback, founders of this ministry, are personal friends of mine. They have been an inspiration to me through the years as they have tirelessly and sacrificially followed God's call to minister His love to the people of Israel. Tents of Mercy began in Israel in 1995 with two home cell groups and a few cardboard boxes of humanitarian aid. Today, their vision to be an oasis for Israel's returning exiles and for her native-born sons and daughters is being fulfilled in many ways.
