Focus Ministries. "FOCUS Ministries is a safe place. We are passionate about helping women and families not only survive, but thrive. . . . Do you need a safe place to find support and encouragement in your life journey? FOCUS Ministries has support groups scattered throughout the country. You’ll gain insight into the complicated nature of dysfunctional relationships and domestic violence, as well as be able to connect with other women who have found themselves in difficult circumstances. Special efforts are in place to keep the groups confidential." They also offer support for pastors' wives and retreats for women in pursuit of God.  ​
​If you need help and this is an emergency, if possible, call 9-1-1. If you cannot safely call from where you are, place the call as soon as you are out of the house and out of danger. Alert your neighbors to call 9-1-1 for you if they hear suspicious sounds coming from your apartment or house.

​Refuge Ministries. A support group that extends God's grace to the survivors of physical, verbal, and emotional abuse.
  • Turning Point is an intervention program for men that meets weekly for group counseling and education, designed to reach and change the core beliefs that cause them to abuse.
  • The Refuge is a weekly support group that extends God's grace to survivors of abuse. 
  • Refuge Kids is a place where children can find healing from the abuse they witness and experience within their parents' relationship.
